Wine tasting flight scorecard generator — blind key, sheets & a computed group tally
Set up a private home or club wine tasting: enter how many wines and tasters, print a blind host key and a scoring sheet per taster, then — after the tasting — type in the totals your tasters already wrote down and get a computed, ranked group tally with a named tie-break. Free, no account, no app to install.
1. Set up your flight
Real wine names (optional, host-only)
These print ONLY on the host key below — never on a taster sheet. Leave any blank to use "Bottle #" instead.
Taster names (optional)
Used to label each printed sheet and the results-entry grid. Leave any blank to use "Taster #" instead.
This flight is locked so the pour order on your printed sheets never changes underneath you. To change wine/taster counts or names, click "Start a new flight" — this clears any results entered so far.
Host key & pour order
For the host only — keep this page away from tasters.
For the host — don't show tasters
2. Enter tasting results
For each taster, type in the Total they already wrote on their own sheet for each wine (4–20) — not the four separate scores, just the total they summed by hand. Every cell is required for an honest tally.
Tasting results
A computed group tally, not just another fill-in template
Not the only tool that computes a group tally. A live app called Pour Taste does something similar digitally, and this tool doesn't claim to be first or only. What this one does differently: no signup, no app to install, works entirely on paper at the table (phones stay off the table), and prints a real blind key and scoring sheets you can hand out before anyone opens a laptop.
A real, named tie-break. When two wines end up dead even, this tool breaks the tie by counting how many tasters personally rated that wine their own favorite (a tied personal favorite splits evenly) — and if a tie survives even that, it says so honestly as co-champions instead of picking an arbitrary "winner."
Not a fundraiser or raffle tool. This is a private tasting-flight scorecard for a group that already owns the bottles — no ticket sales, no raffle, no prize drawing. If you're planning a wine-pull style fundraiser instead, this isn't that tool.
Wine tasting scorecard generator, quickly
Is this an app or does it need an account?
No. It's a free web page that runs entirely in your browser — no account, no install, no signup. Your flight and results are saved only in your own browser's storage.
Is this the same as Vivino or another wine rating app?
No. Rating apps like Vivino record one person's opinion of one wine at a time. This tool is built for a group flight: it assigns blind letters to a batch of wines, prints a scoring sheet per taster, and computes one shared, ranked group result from everyone's totals.
Do I have to type in all four category scores for every taster?
No — only the Total each taster already summed by hand on their own printed sheet (a whole number from 4 to 20). That keeps results entry to one number per taster per wine, not four.
What happens if two wines tie?
The tally first breaks ties by counting each taster's own personal favorite wine (split evenly if a taster ties two wines as their own favorite). If wines are still exactly tied after that, the results page says so honestly — it shows co-champions rather than forcing an arbitrary single winner.
Can I change the wine or taster count after I've printed sheets?
Once you generate and print, the flight locks so the pour order on your printed sheets can never silently change underneath you mid-tasting. Use "Start a new flight" to change counts or names — this clears any results entered so far.
Is this a fundraiser, raffle, or gambling tool?
No. This is a private tasting-flight scorecard for a group that already owns the wine — there's no ticket sale, raffle, or prize draw anywhere in this tool.
